★ 20 years of broadcast subtitle operations

Your message deserves to cross borders without losing weight.

Azotus is a managed localization service for ministries that publish consistently. We handle translation, formatting, and delivery—so you can focus on the message.

Theological Accuracy
Broadcast Quality
Weekly Delivery

The message is ready. The workflow is not.

Every ministry expanding into new languages faces the same friction.

Volunteers can't sustain weekly output month after month

Generic translation misses theological nuance—and creates real confusion

Poorly formatted subtitles undermine content that took weeks to produce

Managing files, revisions, and deliverables consumes staff time you don't have

One mistranslated term can require public correction—or worse

The ambition is there. The infrastructure is not.
That's the gap Azotus was built to close.

Translation infrastructure for weekly publishers.

We manage the entire localization workflow: transcription, translation with theological terminology control, subtitle formatting to broadcast standards, and final delivery in your preferred format.

Outcomes, not just outputs.

Theological Accuracy

Glossary-controlled terminology ensures your vocabulary stays consistent—"sanctification" is never rendered as "purification" by accident.

Broadcast-Grade Formatting

Line breaks, reading speed, and timing formatted to professional broadcast standards. Your content looks as authoritative as it sounds.

Simple Approval

One review link with audio and side-by-side text. Make edits directly, then approve. No complex file management required.

Finished Deliverables

Burned-in video, caption files (SRT, VTT, TTML), or both. Ready to upload, broadcast, or archive.

For organizations that publish consistently.

Weekly Programs

Regular episodes that need reliable turnaround, every week.

Broadcast Networks

QC-compliant formatting for stations that require it.

Global Expansion

Ministries adding languages as their reach grows.

Teaching Archives

Long-form content libraries requiring professional localization.

Minimum engagement required. We work with organizations ready to commit to consistent publishing.

Four steps. No complexity on your end.

We Deliver

Finished files ready to publish or air.

Translation is available everywhere.
Reliable publishing infrastructure is not.

Ministry content has requirements that general translation services don't understand:

  • ✓ Vocabulary that carries doctrinal weight
  • ✓ Tone that respects the speaker and the subject
  • ✓ Consistency across hundreds of episodes
  • ✓ Delivery schedules that don't slip

"I've spent 20 years running subtitle operations for Omega—a Christian television network in Iceland. Subtitles are required by law here, and the pressure never stops: fresh content every day, theological precision required, volunteers burning out. I built this system to solve my own problem. Now I'm making it available to ministries worldwide."

— Haukur, Founder

When your message crosses languages, it should arrive intact.

Questions

What languages do you support?

Currently: Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, and Icelandic with full theological terminology support. Additional languages are available with lead time—the system is designed to expand.

Do we have to manage subtitle files ourselves?

No. Most clients receive finished deliverables ready to publish. You can request raw files if you prefer, but it's not required.

What if we need changes?

You'll receive a review link with audio and side-by-side text. Make edits directly, then approve. We finalize delivery after your sign-off.

Is this software we need to learn?

No. Azotus is a managed service. You send content, we deliver finished outputs. The only interface you see is a simple review portal.

What kind of content is this for?

Weekly programs, sermon archives, teaching series, courses, and broadcast libraries— particularly where consistency and theological accuracy matter.

What formats do you deliver?

SRT, VTT, TTML, and burned-in MP4 video. We match the format to your publishing platform.
